Our chosen object is a camera from Victorian times. We know that Queen Victoria was the first monarch to be photographed and this is an important part of history because for the first time, the people didn't have to rely on portraits and drawings to see what the royal family looked like. Photography has become an important hobby for many people and it is enjoyed throughout the world.
