This is a Lone Star Products Ltd. Sharp Shooter Rifle. The British company Die Cast Machine Tools Ltd chose the name 'Lone Star' for its toy range in 1949 because of the demand for toy guns and rifles popular in Westerns in cinemas. In the 1950s and 60s they exported over six million toy guns to America! The Sharp Shooter Rifle has a repeater which fires 100-shot cap rolls with a spring-loading mechanism The stock and shoulder butt are made of plastic, as with all Lone Star toy rifles, but the magazine and firing mechanism are made of die cast metal and finished in 'gleam' silver.
