Marsaili notices the look of horror on her friend's face. What has she seen? Marsaili turns to face the spectacle coming before her. It's a figure of a man. He's coming towards them at speed. The sun is shining so bright that Marsaili cannot work out who the man is.
He is waving his arms wildly at the two girls, is he being friendly or is he shaking his fists? Marsaili cannot decide.
One thing is for certain; he will influence where the girls go next on their road trip.
