Hello it's Amy here. I'm your new Agents4Change Volunteer Co-ordinator in Reading.

What does that mean I hear you cry?

Well, if you're aged 16-25 then it means I need you. In fact I need 300 of you!

Basically my challenge is to help you get involved in stuff. Not just any old thing but stuff that can actually make a difference.

Perhaps you fancy organising your own gig for charity? Helping out kids at your local youth club? Or you want to transform your regular hang out? I'm here to help you make it happen.

But you don't have to come up with all the ideas. It's my job to know about loads of opportunities in and around Reading and I'm also planning a whole summer of fun, so use the form at the bottom of the page and get on the mailing list to be the first to find out what鈥檚 going on.

Yeah, but what's the point? I'd rather stay in and watch the Hollyoaks Omnibus.

Volunteering is a great thing to do. Ok, so you don't get paid, but free tea and biscuits have got to be worth at least an hour of your time, not to mention the feeling of well being.

The great thing about getting involved in Agents4Change is that you choose what you want to do.

There's also no denying that getting the big V word on your CV looks good.

It's a common known fact that if you have extra experience and interests on your CV, employers love you. Especially if it's relevant to the job.
