主播大秀 WM Introducing has teamed up with 主播大秀 Blast to offer a budding music reporter the chance to join the show this summer.

Ever dreamed of interviewing bands, reporting on gigs and covering festivals?

Got some free time this summer?

For eight weeks from July - September 2009, you could work alongside 主播大秀 WM presenters Brett Birks & Louise Brierley.

Brett & Louise present 主播大秀 WM Introducing every Thursday night - the show dedicated to new musical talent in the West Midlands.

And now you can get involved!

The scheme is part of 主播大秀 Blast - a national project that allows young people the chance to gain valuable work experience in radio and online journalism.

You'll be actively involved in the West Midlands' music scene, going to gigs and reporting on bands, taking photos, writing reports and even making videos.

You must be into all genres of music - from hip-hop to heavy metal; acoustic folk to jazz and punk.

Your will work will supply a variety of content for both 主播大秀 WM Introducing on the radio and the 主播大秀 Birmingham and Black Country websites.

Most of all though, we'd like you to come armed with ideas of your own on how you can benefit 主播大秀 WM.

So if you've got some spare time this summer and fancy being a 主播大秀 Blast reporter, apply online to join the new music revolution.

Please note: applicants must be aged over 18. Whilst we welcome all age groups, this programme has been designed with the 18-22 age range in mind.

The placement will require you to work for two days a week, for eight weeks. It is unpaid. Ideally, you must be local to Birmingham or the Black Country and have good knowledge of the West Midlands' music scene.
