By recycling old pairs of unused jeans; all in different shades and styles, I was able to design and make a 19th century style boned corset with a modern silhouette; dress top. I tried to incorporate the interesting features of jeans and reconstruct them in a funky way. I was inspired by avant-garde fashion, origami and flowers. I enjoyed this because I think denim is a great fabric to work with.
