Title: Denim evening gown

I wanted to challenge the set use of denim in the world of fashion by creating an Oscars worthy evening gown. I used four pairs of old jeans which my friends were going to throw away anyway. Front is beaded with apple, lemon and pumpkin seeds and sequins which I cut off an old handbag. Zip is from an old rucksack of mine, the only non -recycled item I used was the thread. The dress took me a long time to make because I had to hand-sew most of it, my sewing machine couldn't sew so many layers of denim.
