What I wanted from my design was to show the versatility of denim. Jeans are popular for being casual, baggy garments that aren't always particularly flattering. I would have used lace on the top section; however, I decided to create my own to stop the use of any other (non-environmentally friendly) products and to use as much of the denim as possible, ensuring that my product is 100% recycled. All components from the dress were originally from the jeans including pockets and buttons.
