Mexico Dress

The pattern on the garment was inspired by the elaborate and intricate tiling found on the outside and inside of many Mexican churches and cathedrals. The colours I have used are mainly primary, which reflect the colours used in traditional Mexican folk art and show the vibrancy of the culture and its traditions as a whole. In terms of the shape and cut of the dress, I was influenced more by modern trends of recent summer collections.
