DESIGN ONE - I think that dance embraces the culture and history of Mexico. The most inspiring for me was Jalisco dancing so I decided to incorporate it into my designs. I used vibrant colours and volume in the bottom of the dress to make it stand out and I used ruffles/frills which are very popular in the Jalisco dresses. Also, I used bold patterns such as diamonds and stripes as they create a good effect and catch the eye.
