The Floating Chapel - Part 2 : Well I guess the title says it. This is the second part of my story the Floating Chapel. I apologise right now for the lack of difference in my character's dialogues, but I can't do voices. Hope you'll forgive me that. Any way, I hope others will upload soon, as the blast pixie said the other day, it would just be great to hear from everyone. xkim

Something about your voice reminds me of someone else I've heard reading...and they were phenomonally comforting too, hah. So yes, I approve.

That's it! I had a version of the Snow Queen on tape when I was a kid and you sound a lot like the person reading that. I feel young again! I can walk! I can walk!

Your voice is so nice to listen to Kim, I honestly can't understand why you have so many reservations about doing audio posts. I loved your description of the birds, particuarly the magpie. The dialogue was also spot on, especially the bit where the ship is first spotted. You got the tones dead on! I liked the cliffhanger at the end, and I will be looking out for the next post of this! I am still trying to find a way of recording some of my own stuff. My laptop microphone isn't very good - to record I have to shove my head next to it, which makes reading a little difficult. But I'm working on it!

Thank you. I dunno why, it's just how I am I think. But thank you so much for the comments, I am quite surprised by them, but I feel rather wonderful about it too so thank you. Oh and Charisma, I hold my laptop really close to me too, usually on my lap or something or I lean forward and then speak up a bit, I've found putting it on my bed and then just leaning in close to it works for me, but then I'm reading my words straight off my screen because I don't have a printer with ink in it. It took me ages to get through this latest one, mainly because of not reading the dialogue right. It's odd how recording things kind of makes you think about possible changes. I altered a few words in this (actually I made the alterations people had suggested on the board) and will be altering a few in my next audio. But I will look out for your audio Charisma when you've done it. Don't be afraid to post, it's nervy the first time, but after the first time, it's still scary, but less so if that makes sense!
