Title: Blast Portrait Competition

The reason why I chose this band is because they are very edgy and their style of music I enjoy listening to which this helped me to design the CD Cover which is very unique and the people that are in the pictures are very fashionable, and the background of my design is inspired by their stripy tops. The band looks very unique and different, thats why the images that create the CD Cover is very different and unique. The piece of Art I have produced is based on Sergeant Pepper and Collage. The way I have used the collage style makes the figures on the design cover really stand out. The way I have designed the outcome was by originally just cutting the figures out and putting them onto a background of typography saying 'EL POLICIA', but I then took several different photos and re-arranged the figures every time, I then put the different photos together to create the CD Cover. I then scanned in the design onto photoshop and edited the image by changing the contrast levels and highlighted one of the 'EL POLICIA' in red in the bottom right hand corner.
