Title: El Policia Album Cover

This was completed as part of a graphics project for college. The band said they were influenced by The Velvet Underground, and were fans of Warhol, so i used the idea of Warhol's work for a repeat print of the band. I screwed this paper up - i feel that this reflects the urban background described by the band. I then added another layer, which is a cut-out-style outline of the band. I think that this is quite an effective way of displaying the portraiture on the cover as opposed to just using the orignial image. I wanted to use a bright text in contrast to the rest of the black and white album cover, and feel that the colour and text chosen work well in unison with the rest of the cover.
