Title: Ed Sheeran

Out of all the musicians, I chose Ed Sheeran because I like his music plus the lyrics. Ed Sheeran likes colour and also has a colourful personality. I found it interesting how he said ‘all songs have colours’ and I agree with this comment. I choose to portray his colourful personality by layering three colours (purple, orange and green) but offset each to create a blur of Ed Sheeran’s silhouette in the centre. The silhouette I chose is Ed with his guitar. I chose a silhouette instead of a normal portrait to create a more down to earth and black and white centre in all the colour as Ed said he wants to be thought of as a regular person. The blur and layer of colour shows the blend of genre and the mix of colours from his songs. I also had the text and music notes in black and white to have the continued effect of normal in the colour. I chose the music note to represent the deeper meaning of Ed Sheeran’s songs.
