Title: Sonnet

by Irida | in writing, poetry

In moors of cashmere and meadows of silk, I sit
I imagine, I dream, I love and hope
I do as my heart sees fit
I see no disappointment and hear no woes
For I ride through a town called Bliss
No longer do I see sorrow, for it is gone
And away I banish poignancy but with a mere kiss
In oceans of honey and lakes of euphoria, I swim
I rejoice, I bathe, and I spin and whirl
And the light of despair is dim
And onions cause no tears to me
And matters of the heart, too cause me no pain
For in this world the flame of my imagination is lit
And in this world I do as my mind sees fit.
