A star shines in the horizon
Shines so bright
It's overwhelming
A star shines in the horizon
Alone and lost
Mirroring the depth of my heart
A star shines in the horizon
It bursts, luminous
Parallel to me
A star shines in the horizon
Each night, a new beginning
How I wish ' for an ending
A star shines in the horizon
One of many joys to my heart
I wish.
A star shines in the horizon
Hangs high above
With me; far, far below
A star shines in the horizon
Unique and outstanding
So completely different to me
A star shines in the horizon
The only thing that shone
In my life
A star shines in the horizon
Free and liberated
Caged and confined, yep that's me
Oh how I wish I could be a star
Just a star,
Nothing more
A star.
