Title: A single tear

by Verity from North Yorkshire | in writing, poetry

A single tear,
All on its own,
A single tear,
All alone,
It rolls right down,
Across my cheek,
I bet my crying,
Makes me look weak,
I loved you lots,
And always will,
It numbs my pain,
Just like a pill,
My love is pure,
My love is true,
My love is simple,
And all for you,
It makes me happy,
To see your smile,
I love your hair,
And I love your style,
I'd give my life,
For you my dear,
If you're by my side,
What am I to fear?
I love your hair,
Your eyes and more,
I love you,
You're who I adore,
I love the way,
In which you smile,
When I come back,
After being gone for a while,
So just to say,
I love you a lot,
This is the end,
dot dot dot,
