I put together presentations that should be in every school, because the DCSF say their purpose is to:

Make children and young people happy and healthy. Keep them safe and sound. Give them a top class education. Help them stay on track. Well if bullying is present in schools on a high level and not dealt with in a proper way, all of this will become lies. I will explain this

"Make children and young people happy and healthy" : If children are being bullied some will feel like it's their fault, they're to blame for how they dress, look or act.

Some even self harm. I believe/know it's a sign to say 'Help, something's wrong'. People in schools need to listen more.

"Keep them safe and sound"

If kids are being bullied and don't want to go to school, the parents are to blame rite?? according to the context here. It's the DCSF that are at fault in my opinion.

"Give them a top class education"

If kids don't go to school because they feel intimidated or if they are getting bullied, this is also a let down

And finally

"Help them stay on track". Really all you have to do is refer to the above issues

Bullying in schools should be taken as seriously as gang threats

Why do I say this?

Bullying can cause a group to feel intimidated or angry, so they rebel against the people that are causing it they could get their group to get their own back. This could be the forming of a gang.

I strongly believe that if we get a grip of bullying in schools, we can get a grip of the gang violence. Gangs are started somewhere, and the preferred place is in my opinion, a place that has a lot of people of all ages who are easily lead.

Let's take a grip of bullying

Let's stop the violence and deaths that this causes

Let's get stronger punishments for bullies.

People want to go to school to learn and get a good job from the education they receive. What happens if they get bullied? Most people suffer in silence and keep it bottled up. What should be done?
