Title: An Ode to Celia

by Thomas from Wales | in writing, poetry

Oh, how I love that eccentric woman,
The way her hair rests so scruffily.
Her nose, pointed out towards me, screams, "I want no other man",
I wonder what it is she sees in me?
Her glasses, upon her nose, stare with a piercing gaze.
Her arms are wide, outstretched, wanting a hug, no?
When I look up into her earrings, I lose myself in a maze
Do I wish she was more than just a measly old scarecrow?

In our drama lesson, we had to write and perform a poem or rap professing our love of someone or something. My friend gave me the idea of doing it about our Drama teacher.
