Title: The One

by Rachel from London | in writing, poetry

I want to be the one who shares your bed,
Who shares your dreams, and hope and fears,
I want to be the one who kisses you goodnight,
The blanket that lies on you, the pillow you rest one,
The one you'll hold so tight.

And I want to be the one you flash your heavenly smile at,
The one you longingly gaze at,
The one you confide in, what you think you lack.
But what's the point of me loving you,
If you'll never love me back?
