Title: Late at night

by Santana from Northern Ireland | in writing, poetry

Late at night; when the moon is nigh
That is when they start to cry...
Tears of joy, tears of sorrow
Tears of wishing for tomorrow

Late at night; when the moon is nigh
That is when they look on high...
To remember dreams of courage, and cowardice.
To remember the times they paid the price...

Late at night; when the moon is nigh
That is when there comes a sigh
A sigh for days long past; and
Dreams that may never come to pass

Late at night; when the moon is nigh
That is when they start to cry...

This poem is from me - not quite knowing (at the time) what I was feeling or going to do in my life.
