Title: Love Poem

by Catherine-Jayne from Wales | in writing, poetry

Kiss me,
Then take it back.
All my favourite shades of black
Are coloured on your guilty face,
You're so pretty, such a disgrace.
So marry me,
Say you do,
Do it, screw it
And I will too;
'cos love's forever, love's with you,
Shame it's tainted, so untrue.

I'm a Princess,
You're a King,
You're like God ' you're everything.
You're a parasite on my heart,
Sucking every bleeding part.

Grey, black, blue, spite,
Loneliness ' now what a sight;
It's a palace of despair,
Empty,
But I found you there.

She loves you,
You love me,
I love myself-
We're all happy!
Love's a loser,
Love's my friend,
Sucker love, it's all pretend.

Roses are blue,
Violets are red,
My love has gone-
Have flowers instead.
I hate this part,
And so do you.
The cliché's broken,
So I hate you.

      good poem. Not a typical love poem at all, very interesting!
