Title: Time

by Laura from Buckinghamshire | in writing, fiction

Time, in essence, is the same. A second is always a second. One man's day is as short as the next. A prince's year passes the same four seasons as the poor man's son.
But think about it, I mean really think so hard that your head hurts and your eyes water from the reality of it all. When you think about it, you realise that time, in essence, is never the same. A second can stretch into tomorrow or a day can pass in an instant. A winter can last for decades yet the warmth of a summer can be chilled in a moment.
One second, another, another another another' another all the same. And then'and then'
Time, in essence, is all the same. Apart from that one second, and I promise it just takes a second, which will tear the world apart and create a new one. That one second that's throws the rest off time.
