Title: Hold Me

by Rhiannon from Wales | in writing, poetry

Dear Robert

The rain is pouring
Outside the glass
And you're not here to hold me.

The lightning's flashing
Outside the glass
Please come home to hold me.

I'm all alone
Behind the glass
I miss the way you hold me

The cold is seeping
Through the glass
Share your warmth Rob and hold me.

Tears run wild
Like rain on the glass
Will you ever be here to hold me?

I read the letter
Beside the glass
You're never coming home to hold me.

It was just a first attempt at a poem in letter form. It's not very good, but i thought I might as well share it :)
