Title: The May Days

by Matthew from London | in writing, poetry

Thud, thud the May days awakening
Life turns to stone and grey days impending
School kids laugh and darkness is swallowing
Condemning the corridor, the bells
Ringing
Resounding
Reaping
Turning into doorway, pen nibs are scratching
Air tells a tale, with tensions arising
The taut teacher barks and furious hands are quivering
The summer forthcoming,
No hands are clapping.
