Title: Confession

by Sarah from Durham | in writing, poetry

Forgive me, father, for I have sinned.
I broke her heart today.
I saw her and told her there's another.
She told me she could change.
I didn't believe her.
Then I walked away.
She's gone.

Forgive me, father, for I have sinned.
I killed my love today
He saw me and I put the gun to his head.
He told me he was sorry.
I didn't believe him.
I pulled the trigger.
He's gone.
