Title: Too Young

by Sarauniya from Surrey | in writing, poetry

It happened so fast
Before I could say
One minute you're here
The next you've gone away

And I just can't help but think
you had such a life
young choices and decisions
too young to say goodnight

too young to have your life
just ripped away like that
too young to not live life
and too young to take it back

but then I wonder
when is the age
that we can say
'I'm old enough to go away?'

we're all too young
to take death's hand today
it happened so fast
and now you've gone away

A girl that I didn't know from my school died. We were told to write what we felt to get us through the loss.
