Mark is slumped on a decrepit sofa, dressed casually. Emma is lying on his chest, he is playing with her fingers, her hair is in his face but he makes no effort to remove it.
Mark: I.. er.. I fell in love for the first time when I was ten.
Emma: [Shocked/ amused] Ten years old?
Mark: Hah.. yer...
Emma: Who was she?
Mark: This girl...
Emma: [turns her head slightly to look him in the eyes]...
Mark: Hah... she lived down my street. She would be at her window every night...
Emma: [Buts in] Perv!
Mark: [Pushes her head away from him playfully] Shut up, I was ten! [Rolls eyes] Anyway... She would be at her window every night, at around 8... She had this long, straight hair. It was always perfect, her hair, it was like a curtain.
Emma: [Scoffs] A curtain!? [Giggles]
Mark: Well it was! But she never even brushed it or anything. She just woke up and it was perfect, glistening, not a hair out of place. I used to watch her from my window...
Emma: [Sits up and points at him laughing with mouth open in mock shock]
Mark: shhhh! [Puts hand over Emma's mouth] I know 'PERV!' whatever.
Emma: [Lies down again]
Mark: [Laughing to himself] I tought I was like Romeo...
Emma: [Giggling again] Romeo?
Mark: I hadn't even read the play...
Emma: [Sits up with one hand on her chest and one raised in an overly theatrical pose] Romeo, Romeo where art thou Romeo...
Mark: [Pushes her over and laughs] Shut up!
Emma: [Falls onto other side of the sofa and laughs hyterically]
Mark: [Collapses onto sofa next to her, and both laugh]
