Title: Pointless Clutter

by Robbie from Scotland | in writing, poetry

The clutter that surrounds you where there's room
You fear it's pointless, it'll all burn soon
Or maybe sit around and gather dust for many empty years
But through the physical memory we forget all the tears

Fears best forgotten, you remember what you've overcome
Even help you forget the many times you've run
Maybe now I can look back at all the things I've done
And realise there's so much I've overcome

Something is only as hard as you fear it
And if you just try, you'll try again if you get near it
Look around you at all you've built up
And look forward to all the things you've yet to overcome

""Inspiration"" is pretty obvious really.. just sitting about looking at all the crap I keep about me, and wondering why.
