Title: The Holocaust

by Kate from London | in writing, poetry

I want to run but to no avail,
My feet stuck.
I want to speak
But no words are heard.

Life's torments flash,
Black and white simultaneously.

I look unto my brother,
His miserable eyes
Stare back at mine.

His fate is similar.
We stand as brothers,
Comforting each other.

A video player fast forwards.
He is dead.
I no longer speak.
His eyes guide me onto another track.
