Title: Bit Ott

by Christopher from Cheshire | in writing, poetry

I knew a girl right? And she sed to me,
'I love you robo, whatever may be'
I will be with you forever and a day,
With that in mind we danced the summer away,
But on the horizon, a growing cloud,
With bad tension rising in it's shroud.

Tis' not a sin to leave a lover,
But tis to yearn for another,
A moral that dwelled in both our heads,
as we thought of each other lieing in our beds,
my love was great as I thought was hers,
But pure love is nothing but a bloody curse.

It turns the soul and rips the heart,
and as you try and play your part,
the girl you loved is forgetting you all the while,
wearing that dress with her cheaky smile,
She cared about you once, that was for sure,
As she tells you the love you had is no longer pure.

'I've moved on, i have a new life,'
Worries abound and panic is strife,
'Im not sure I love you I don't know what to do'
Panic resides, I don't give a shit about you!
What about me, the games that you play,
I will be with you forever and a day.

So the phonecall ends and you are still as one,
Girlfriend you have but the love is gone
It is so helpless, you're up against the wall,
The shot will be fired and you shall fall,
Unto 6 months grief in lovers hell,
Where no man will hear you scream and yell,
