Alisha crept towards Courtney's silent, barely breathing shadow. How she had allowed her to get so slim she did not know. Five stone at the age of thirteen, Courtney was pale and looking like a skeleton. She refused the sandwiches that Alisha had tried to offer her. Alisha tenderly touched her daughter's blank face. The emotion flooded through her like ice. She was dead.
Some catwalk models influence girls to be skinny, and some get paranoid about their weight, and become anorexic.
