My first outfit has been inspired by the circular stain-glass panel which encouraged the use of colour and pattern displayed on the several slithers of the evening dress. I found the medieval fish ornament extremely inspirational and this lead me to form the curvy style. I decided to create an original leg opening to differentiate it and emphasise the shape. In my second outfit my inspiration originated form the large window panel, to create the upper body; colour from the circular panel, similarly to the first garment; shape from vase- like an hourglass form; and finally the ruffles were inspired by the wavy locks upon the head of the metallic statue. Colours of blue and black were chosen to create this metallic effect. I also decided to add jewels to emphasize the value of medieval history. Finally my last out fit fishnet fabric originated from the inspiration of medieval textiles work combined with the fish. The form of the lower body come from the 'Spade' window panel; patterns and colour was inspired by the building's roof. Similarly the ruffles from the statue. Finally the crucifix is a common feature in all garments , I feel this is a beautiful symbol.
