You are a monkey on my back___the bagagge under my eyes from another sleepless night___the cold permanently residing in my head____you are the demon in my dreams and I would like you dead.
You are the burst valves of my heart____the asthma cutting to my chest____the boils collected from a week in bed____you are the demon in my dreams and I would like you dead.
You are a cancer eating through my bones___the pain in a limb lost years ago___a tumour slowly knitting through my pours like thread____you are the demon in my dreams and I would like you dead.
You are an off-beat funeral march___a long lost loveless affair___the illness that consumed me until I fled___demon of my darkest dreams, please leave me be now I am dead.
