The 主播大秀 Trust have today published an in-depth review of Radio 5 live and 5 live Sports Extra, based on extensive consultation with our listeners and detailed analysis of the station鈥檚 performance.
The report concludes that the stations are performing well and delivering real value to licence fee payers.
It praises our news coverage as having breadth, depth, wit and intelligence and nine out of ten listeners rate our sports coverage as high quality.
There are a number of recommendations and actions which we鈥檒l be considering in detail over the next few weeks and developing plans to put into practice.

In three years time Scotland could be independent. In the last few weeks, the rhetoric and campaigning on both sides of the debate over Scotland's future has stepped up, with it looking likely there will be a referendum in Scotland in the autumn of 2014.

The UK is about to get a new city, as part of the Queen鈥檚 Diamond Jubilee celebrations. It鈥檚 rare that city status is granted, and 25 towns have applied. Just one of them will be reclassified as a city next month. Being called a city doesn鈥檛 bring any additional powers or funding, but that hasn鈥檛 stopped the contenders from mounting fierce campaign to win the honorary title.
