They haven’t been together long but have already played Electric Picnic after a Battle of the Bands win at Whelan’s in Dublin beating 47 other Irish acts. They are soon to embark on a mini tour of Ireland with dates in Dublin, Cork and Limerick on March 22nd, 23rd and 24th respectively.</p> <p><strong>James Poucher - Rose</strong></p> <p>James Poucher is a 15 year old, multi-instrumentalist from Newry making DIY tracks in his bedroom. He doesn’t have much social media presence as of yet but we will keep you up to date with any developments we hear of in James’ world.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/dronepopdocumenta/">Documenta</a> – Word Song</strong></p> <p>‘Word Song’ was released during Independent Venue week and is a cover of a song by Welsh band <a href="http://yucatan.cymru/">Yucatan</a>. It appears on a limited run cd which features Documenta, Yucatan and <a href="https://www.facebook.com/horsebeachband/">Horsebeach</a> covering each-others songs.</p> <p><strong><a href="http://iampaths.com/">PATHS</a> – Neoprene</strong></p> <p>PATHS is the new project of ex-Nakatomi Towers member Julianne Shaw. Her high tempo, electronica single‘Neoprene’ was released in January this year and you can stream it right now.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/MeadowlarkBelfast/">Meadowlark</a> – Love & Death</strong></p> <p>R. The album was released in November 2016 and is available to stream for free now.</p> <p><strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheMadDalton">The Mad Dalton</a> – Oh Marseille</strong></p> <p>Peter GW Sumadh aka The Mad Dalton is a Scots/Canadian songwriter currently living in Belfast. They launch their debut album at the Open House Festival in the Queens Parade Church, Bangor on the 25th August.</p> <p><strong>Swords – Betty Machete</strong></p> <p>The first single from their new album ‘Tidal Waves’ due this winter, Dublin band Swords have been working with Karl Odlum on the followup of their debut album ‘Lion & Gold’ released in 2013.
