    1. DJ Xtreme Bollywood Lovers (Demo)

    It maybe a mash up but oh what a perfecto mash up. It sounds like this 3KG song was made for the wifey riddim...you may remember we were playing the wifey riddim with Lost Souljah on it a couple of months back.

    2. MC Flex Sidewinder Raw (Demo)

    Simply stunning and scary as hell - beats wise. I love the way when you first hear it MC Flex sounds like he's just having a conversation without any meaning - then after a few listens you realise its his abstract way of dropping bars and there's a full story in there....

    3. MDK Cartel See Us In The Dance (Oxygen Recordings)

    This track drips with righteous anger and in your face energy from start to finish. Its like being jumped by the MDK Cartel and being gently beaten up while angry Dhol and Tumbi players provide the soundtrack!

    4. Ramzi & Ash King Take It Easy (White)

    The chorus is insanely catchy and I believe if you let this song into your head its all over baby! For the last 5 days I've had "Ya Habibi" sung in that R&B way Ramzi does it going around my head. At last - we can add Ash King to the box marked "good asian male singers'.

    5. Braze Feat Brass Munk Fall Back (Braze Music)

    Canadian HipHop on a asiatic level - done competently and with real Canadian passion (yes there is such a thing!).


    From now on the Top 5 will be changed weekly with tracks dropping out, new entries etc......you can see it on the front page of the Friction Mini site......

    Whadda you lot think about the above tracks, and is the show becoming a central source for new music?
