Living with a stammer is difficult. It's a daily uphill struggle with emotional baggage weighing you down. You can't be the person you want to be. Why? Because you have no voice. No voice = no personality + no opinion. The stammer dictates who and what you are. You end up ordering a meal or a drink you can say rather than the ones you actually want. Stammerers end up in jobs they don't care much for (i.e. sat behind a computer) to avoid having to speak to anyone. It controls you and it makes decisions for you.

Stop my Stutter looks at how five young adults try to reverse this, as they make the first few steps to trying to control it.

I've stammered all my life, and it's fair to say that my stammer has shaped my life. It's made me make some decisions that I'm sure I wouldn't have if I didn't suffer with this affliction.

I particularly liked the idea of making this documentary with a group of people who are roughly the same age as me. Young adults living with a stutter is hard work. How do they handle job interviews? What do they do when the phone rings?Ìý How do they 'chat someone up'? All these things the average person takes for granted prove to be a stammerers' biggest challenge.

This documentary shows how these 'everyday speaking situations' plague and torture these young adults, but then how a little hard work and courage can unlock a whole new life as they find a voice.

Making a documentary about my hometown was always going to be the most difficult topic I had ever covered! No question. I have made documentaries about sex trafficking in Cambodia and child soldiers in the Democratic Republic of Congo, but making a programme about Luton was different - it was personal.

I was born in Luton, I grew up in Luton and all my family and friends are still there. Luton is home for me.

It's been given a rough old time in the press. It is rumoured to have a fanatical few who are determined to use Islam as an excuse to justify some of their extreme beliefs and views.

This tiny minority used to be known locally to us as The Al-Muhajiroun, or the AMs. They were banned in 2010 under the UK Terrorism Act. My personal opinion is that these people do not represent what I understand Islam to be - at all.

I never really had an opinion about the Al Muhajiroun, I didn't really know enough about them. The only time I took real notice of them was when the troops were marching through the town and everyone had gathered to welcome them home.

The AMs showed up with banners, stating that the soldiers were 'baby rapists' and 'murderers'. They spat on some of the soldiers. Lots of Lutonians saw red, believing this was a step too far, and that day it all really kicked off. . It wasn't a great day to be from Luton.

As a result, the EDL, (The English Defence League) formed.

I knew that extremism in Luton was a really important issue to try and cover, even though it could be very awkward for me at times! I've had people stopping me in the Arndale, telling me I've put Luton in the media again for negative reasons. I've had people from the EDL asking me where my head scarf is and people from the AMs asking me why I don't go find a boyfriend from the EDL - but I stand by the reasons why I decided to make the documentary, and I'm pleased I did.

I've learnt that whether we like to admit it or not, there are real issues that need addressing; there are people who aren't willing to see the other side, who believe their fanatical views are the only way forward. But it's also true that there are so, so, so many Lutonians - white, Asian, Muslim, Non-Muslim - who want to live peacefully. Together.

Last time I was on the Three Blog I'd just been off surfing a tidal wave, playing the guitar at 60mph, and microwaving some ants (which I've been told to remind you guys, don't try at home!) But it was all to explain how the universe began and where we came from in the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three science documentary Secrets of the Universe.

Thanks to your feedback on the show, a full series has been commissioned (I owe you lovely people a drink). So over the past six months I've been buried alive, shot, burnt, punched, zapped, frozen, and generally suffered in the name of science filming the new series, The Secrets of Everything. You said you liked the stunt approach to explaining science, so the Producers didn't hold back! And I was only seriously damaged once...

Edith Bowman hosted the Red Carpet Show for Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three, getting you all the insider gossip before the main event. She braved the cold to chat to the nominees and celebrity guests as they arrived for the most prestigious film awards in the UK. And didn't they all scrub up well?

The only BAFTA of the night voted for by the public went to Adam Deacon as he collected his Rising Star award. He's been a busy manÌý - as well as starring in and writing, directing and featuring in , he played Andrew Ibrahimin in Ö÷²¥´óÐã Three's The Boarding School Bomber last year.

Adam beat off some stiff competition for the Rising Star award, with other nominated actors including Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris O'Dowd of fame, Eddie Redmayne ( Ö÷²¥´óÐã One's Birdsong) and Tom Hiddleston (Warhorse).

Jean Dujardin helped silent film become one of the most successful films ever at the awards.Ìý Winning Best Leading Actor, he took the film to an impressive seven BAFTAs, equalling Danny Boyle's and Tom Hooper's . The only other films to have received more BAFTAs are and with eight and nine awards respectively. Here Jean Dujardin accepts his award, with a little nod to British greats like Benny Hill!Ìý

Meryl Streep won her second BAFTA in the Best Leading Actress category for her role as Margaret Thatcher in . She is the most nominated person in the history of the BAFTA's, with a grand total of 13!
