Trai Anfield prepares to fly a glider over the Pennines

Ìý

I have spent some six months chasing the weather to produce a special documentary all about the wierd and wonderful climate we have in the North East and Cumbria.

Did you know that there was a rainfall of fish in Sunderland? When I was researching the show I couldn´t quite believe it but it´s true.

As the evil producer I got to put presenter Trai Anfield into some tough situations. I made her jump into a man made North Sea storm so she could experience the same conditions as during her epic rescue.

I did give her a treat though when I sent her up in a glider over the Pennines. You should see her face when she´s catapulted into the air!

I hope you´ll be amazed at some of the wonderful revelations of just how unique our weather is in the North of England. You can watch the show at 19:30 on Monday September 20.
