We undertook a research programme into VR encompassing market sizing, a mix of existing 鈥榤edia needs鈥 research and a longitudinal ethnographic study. As part of that we recruited teens and adults from across the UK who were interested in VR but had little experience with it.
Although the famous Princess Leia hologram from Star Wars was set a 鈥渓ong, long time ago鈥, this type of audience experience might not be that far away. Holographic experiences offer audiences a level of detail and realism that a short while ago seemed impossible but that are now becoming a reality.
