This week's Label Of Love is the excellent , based in Brighton, home to an eclectic and vibrant roster of producers, bands and MCs. I caught up with Rob Luis to get the lowdown on this fascinating label.

Added to the Radio 1 Playlist this week are Swale six-piece Story Books and their single Peregrine, an atmospheric track that seduces you instantly.

Story Books first came to the attention of Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing in Kent and have since received regular airplay on Huw Stephens' Radio 1 show and Tom Robinson on 6 Music.

matches the track's effortless style. Beautifully shot on disused railways and abandoned waterfronts it delivers an intimate and enthralling picture of the British landscape.

After a support slot for Bloc PartyÌýlast week, Story Books headline their own show at The Lexington in London onÌýJuly 9th.

Our final pre-Hackney Weekend interview comes from the dynamic indie-pop fourpiece Arthur Beatrice, who take to the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing Stage on Sunday.

Introduce yourself: We're Arthur Beatrice. And we make traditional pop music.

How did you get started in music? We all went to school together, and formed a band because none of us were any good at sports. Except Hamish, but he joined later.

What are you looking forward to most about Hackney Weekend 2012? It'll be nice playing for people who we may not normally come into contact with - hopefully what we're doing will translate.

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Hackney? Savages (who also play the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing stage on the Sunday). We've toured with them before and they're amazing, and lovely. It will be incredible to see Nas in the flesh. Much the same with Rihanna.

What would be your tip for Introducing artists to help them get discovered? Put your music on the internet; Soundcloud, Facebook, whatever, and if you've worked hard, you shouldn't need to ram it down people's throats for it to gain momentum. If it doesn't, carry on regardless, things take time.

Who would be your dream collaboration? Re-creating Naive Melody from 'Stop Making Sense', with Mark Hollis instead of the lamp. Talk Talk Talking Heads.

Taking her bow on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing Stage at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend tomorrow (yes, tomorrow) is Paigey Cakey. If she seems familiar, it's because you may have seen her (under her real name Paige Meade) in Joe Cornish's 2011 film Attack The Block. We spoke to the rapper ahead of the moment she swaps the big screen for the big stage!

Introduce yourself: My name is Paigey Cakey. I'm a professional actress, rapper, singer and dancer. I have starred in the hit movie Attack The Block and The Knot which will be out later this year. I am currently filming for the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Series Waterloo Road which will be on your TV in September.

How did you get started in music? I started writing songs in primary school around the age of 10. I then recorded my first ever song on tape with a group of friends around the age of 11. It was when I started my GCSEs in year 11 I decided I wanted to do music. I had to write and record my own song for part of my music exam. I then decided to upload this song of me singing onto YouTube and it gained over 10,000 views. I gained a lot of positive feedback so I decided to continue making music and it went from there.

What are you looking forward to most about Hackney Weekend 2012? I grew up in Hackney so it will be an amazing feeling to perform in Hackney in front of thousands of people. Also it's my biggest show yet.

What's the best piece of advice you've been given? Not to rush. Everyone has their time.

What would be your tip for Introducing artists to help them get discovered? Just promote your music as much as you can and collaborate a lot to push your music to a wider audience. Also and are great ways to share and socialise with other artists.

Who would be your dream collaboration? Missy Elliott.

Wow. Hackney Weekend opens its gates in less than 2 days. All of our artists are now busy putting the final touches to their sets in order to impress some of the 50,000 strong crowd who will be there each day. One such act is In Search Of, four lads who play the Introducing Stage on Saturday. They were kind enough to answer a few of our questions.

Introduce yourself: We are In Search Of. We like to break the boundaries of many genres (i.e Rock, Reggae, Hip Hop) to make a sound to call our own.

How did you get started in music? We've always been around music, but we fully explored it in our teenage years when we taught ourselves how to play.

What are you looking forward to most about Hackney Weekend 2012? Doing what we love most in front of loads of people and getting our music out to a new and wider audience!

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Hackney? Jay Z, Jack White, Boy Better Know and Calvin Harris just to name a few on the spot.

What's the best piece of advice you've been given? Play every gig like it's your biggest. Perform like it's your last!

What would be your tip for Introducing artists to help them get discovered? Create as much media as possible. Use any possible medium to get your music heard. Get all of your friends to share it too!

Who would be your dream collaboration? The Neptunes, Hanz Zimmer, Lee Scratch Perry, Snoop Dogg or RZA. (Such a difficult question!)

Another artist heading to Hackney is Lola King and The Kickstarts, who come to Radio 1's Hackney Weekend with a reputation for an exciting live show driven by the charm and swagger of Lola King and her super talented rhythm section. See below for our interview ahead of the big day!

Introduce yourself: We are a new take on the classic 4 piece band, exciting, genuine, raw.

How did you get started in music? I wrote my first song when I was 14 and me and Dan recorded it using a crappy computer mic in his bedroom. Not long after I played my first gig and have been in the band ever since.

What are you looking forward to most about Hackney Weekend? I can't wait to get that crowd singing along to our song, Bounce Together!!

What's the best piece of advice youve heard? Bob Dylan said (not to me personally!!) 'If you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything'. I think it's such a good piece of advice for any young person to hear but especially an aspiring musician. It's so important to know who you are and what you stand for. You need a good sense of self if you want to write good songs.

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Hackney? I'm gonna be sticking around the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing Stage to check out the new bands-there are so many great acts trying to break through and I want to be there when they do! I'll catch every act I can on the website after though!

Who would be your dream colaboration? At he minute I'd love to write some songs with Jack White. I think we could write some awesome songs together, I love his guitar sound - it's so dirty! Or Cage the Elephant - I love them!! They're so refreshing to watch; no air and graces, no pretence, they stand out as a really genuine band among a sea of actors!!

What would be your tip for Introducing artists to get them discovered? Be brave. Don't be afraid to go against what's considered to be trendy. Walk to your own beat.

Getting airplay on Radio 1 this week are who had their gorgeous track Something or Nothing added to the playlist.
Originally from Southampton, Pale Seas are now based in London where their lush dream folk is earning them quite a reputation. say the band evoke memories of Elliot Smith, have compared them to early Pink Floyd and Beach HouseÌýdefinitely spring to mind.
Play Something or Nothing to your neighbour (be it at your desk or actually next door) and I’d be surprised if they did anything other than swoon. Delicate layers of vocals and heavenly percussion drift through a track which is just the beginning for this young exciting band.

With Hackney Weekend just days away, we thought it would be good to introduce you to a number of the acts playing the Introducing Stage over the weekend. There's an amazing variety of styles, from punk to pop, hip hop to electronica.

Headlining the Introducing Stage on Saturday is innovative rock-rapper Random Impulse, who has previously supported fellow Hackney Weekenders Rizzle Kicks, Pro Green and Ed Sheeran on tour. Here's what he had to say:

Introduce yourself: I'm a rapper that plays electric guitar drums and bass. Sounds a lot weirder than it actually is trust me!

How did you get started in music?I was always writing rhymes here and there but was obsessed with bands so I thought, why don't I teach myself how to play instruments and mix all the sounds I love together?

What are you looking forward to most about Hackney Weekend 2012? Definitely playing for the crowd at the introducing stage. I remember seeing Rizzle Kicks doing it last year and I've always hoped to get a chance to play too

Who are you looking forward to seeing at Hackney? Both my heroes playing on the same day! Jay-Z and Jack White

What's the best piece of advice you've been given? As long as the next week is better than the week before, you have no reason to not believe in yourself

What would be your tip for Introducing artists to help them get discovered? No matter how crazy your ideas, ALWAYS go with it. Even if no one agrees, the minute it starts working everyone will change their tune. Never be afraid of your own ideas man

Who would be your dream collaboration? Dead easy. Jack White, Jay-Z or Alex Turner

This week's Label Of Love is . I recently met Alex and James from the label at the Independent Label Market where they were giving away bananas with download codes hand-written on them. A good way of getting your five a day, no? The label are fond of a mojito or too. Fancy.

Some people are so talented it can make you angry. is one such person but I'll forgive him because he certainly knows how to write a tune or two.

The 18 year old musician has already been music for 15 years (yes, since he was three) and can pick up pretty much any instrument including the piano, bass, trumpet and guitar. In 2008 he even won the UK national title for young drummer of the year.

Taken from his first EP, Sierra Planes (written, produced and recorded by George), No I.D.ea calls on all of his talents. It’s a raucous indie-ska tune, rough around the edges but perfectly assembled. There’s so much of George’s music online, you can get easily lost in it and I’d encourage you to do soÌýif only to marvel at hisÌýwide range of styles and skills.

Listeners to DJ Target's 100%ÌýÖ÷²¥´óÐãgrown show on Ö÷²¥´óÐã RadioÌý1Xtra and Ally McCrae's Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1 show will have heard the line-up for the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing stage at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend announced last night (June 10th).

Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing have been working with local supporters of new music (Rising Tide, Urban Development, Land of Kings Festival, Bigga Fish and Eat Your Own Ears) to give the musical talent of East London a once-in-a-lifetime experience of playing on the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing stage at the biggest musical event in Ö÷²¥´óÐã Radio 1’s history.

With more acts to be announced, the line-up is already looking really strong with the likes of Random Impulse, Savages, Arthur Beatrice and Lil Simz all set to conquer Hackney Marshes.

This week's Tip of the Week is an absolute gem. are three 16 year old lads from Loughborough who specialise in charming acoustic indie music full of ear-catching percussion.

Room No. 66 was first played by Dean Jackson on his Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing show The Beat in September 2011 and . It's subsequently been shown some love by Tom Robinson, Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens.

The band have admitted they have a soft spot for ska and that's noticeable in singer Murray's soft playful vocal and a haunting trumpet signature on this track. Make sure you listen more than once - you'll hear something new each time.
