Elizabeth Bartlett talking about her support group

One of the first nominees put forward for the iPM New Year Honour is Elizabeth Bartlett who featured on Saturdays programme. She runs a memory support group for people with dementia.

Elizabeth has been nominated by Rose, her husband has dementia. "Folded up in her arms" is how she describes meeting Elizabeth.

Our reporter Ray Furlong went to one of their last sessions before Christmas, listen to his piece (5.14 mins)
