It's probably not the best defence you will ever hear, but it's the reason David Batchelor gave for being in the street wearing only a skimpy thong, worn back to front.
He admitted committing a breach of the peace and was fined £150 when he appeared before Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, fully clothed this time.
