Last week Ciara passed by Radio 1 & 1Xtra towers and I got the chance to interview her for my Radio 1 show (which you'll hear this weekend). As we had Gracious "Nappa Man" K with us, we took the opportunity to teach her the dance that is taking over the UK:

A couple of weeks ago, Lethal Bizzle's collaboration with Donae'o "Go Hard" was my Jam Hot record of the week and the pair mentioned about the video being something that had to be seen.

Shaun White & Big Ven aka Fr3e are from London and have previously supported the likes of ATL, Akon, Ray J & Busta Rhymes on tour in the UK. They've taken over the funky scene with their sick new record 'Skank Calm Down' and the accompanying dance the 'Tribal Skank' (at the moment, it's all about the Migraine Skank and the Tribal Skank) and this week, it's Jam Hot!

Big Ven will be joining us on Thursday night so before then, study the video & learn the dance!

Every day on the show this week, I've been bringing you some bonafide Hip Hop classics on fast forward to warm you up for this weekend's 30 years of Hip Hop celebrations on 1Xtra & Radio 1 with the Minipieces (mini masterpieces - geddit?). We're tackling an album per decade per day - thursday = modern day and representing that is Lil Wayne's "The Carter 3"

There are many big Hip Hop albums from the 00's we could have chosen but for impact on the game, influence on the 00's Hip Hop sound and sheer mass appeal, it had to be Kanye's debut. Listening to this, while "808s & Hearbreak" is a sick album, I can't wait to hear Yeezy go back to his roots. The swagger on here is so much bigger than on 808s...!
