Robert Morgan is today's programme producer. Here is his morning email to the production team. You can contribute your ideas and views below.

Hello everyone,

We had the government's mini-budget yesterday in an attempt to deal with the 10p tax row. Now we have the draft Queen's Speech months in advance. Ideas welcome. Michael and Neil are on the case.

Should we be doing more on China and Burma today? Other stories? Is there anything Cherie Blair won't reveal in her memoirs?

We have a White City film from Madeleine and Henrietta:

It's exactly a hundred years ago today since an extraordinary exhibition took place at White City, which is now the home of 主播大秀 Television Centre in London. The Great White City was an extraordinary collection of shimmering palaces and pavilions that made up the Franco-British Exhibition of 1908. Our culture correspondent, Madeleine Holt, reports on a one-off celebration of harmony between Britain and France.

Playout thoughts? See you in a minute,

Robert

Coverage on "UFO's" is tosh. Non- hard news, general interest pieces on past cultural festivals can have their place, but could go out on anyday. Why have you not run a report on the lack of descriptions in the coverage of the current wave of knife-murders on the streets of London. When hundreds of shoppers are witnesses to a murder in Oxford Street in broad daylight, there is a description available. Why don't you give it? In a democracy, claiming freedom of speech, on publicly funded media, on an open-access page, it would be nice if someone had the civility to give me an answer, rather than to just stay tight-lipped. If you think no one is interested, try a text or phone vote---White City report or professional reports on street murders.

I really like Michael Levy meeting Michael Crick ,they really have the makings of a great double act as like in Scotland they have a comedy duo called:
"Hod it and Dod it "
Wee Lord Levy was just purring as Le Crick approached him with his furry microphone

    Oh La La ......!!

If Michael Crick gets a "K" this year then I for one will not be surprised

    Draft Queen's Speech .

Have Labour come up with any working solution to the West Lothian Question yet ?

It's been 8 years since other countries in the Union got devolution , its just poor old England without a voice in the Union now !

Countries within the Union should be treated equally not selectively !

Alex Salmond set out his legislative plans in The Scottish Parliament today - though this was in fact planned well in advance and not a panic measure. Details are given below.

One intriguing proposal is a switch to a new system of outcome budgeting based on the model used apparently in Virginia. It might
be useful to commission a Newsnight piece
on this from your correspondents in the US.
