THE ATTRACTION OF GUILT

British "justice" does not concern itself with guilt or innocence - only with who can be PROVED guilty or innocent. Juries are constantly told to rise above emotion and judge facts. What then follows is a skilful manipulation of their emotions by barristers, in a jolly joust, as a judge - elevated from their ilk - looks on with equanimity. Further, it has long been shown that "good men and true" along with their female counterparts, are much inclined to acquit the attractive and convict the rest. The vaunted "Rule of Law" has little to do with justice and a lot to do with prejudice and boys ploys.

主播大秀 policy contrasts with the self proclaimed "fair and balanced" Fox News, which happily reported on the last Democratic Primary long before the polls closed! It is strange however that the news stations today are full of that awful Austrian case, plus the McCanns, plus the usual slow news day stuff, but with no reference whatsoever to the UK elections. Do we really need to hear more about the Austrian case, or the McCanns for that matter? Is this news? Roll on Newsnight coverage of the beginning of the end of Brown Rule.

News night like most of the media has made the May elections and in particular the London election of the mayor a three horse race.
The rest of the candidates have not had a look in ! As far as the main stream media is concerned.

Yet it is obvious from the turn out and the division of the electorates vote over the last decade what is happening is the will of the people is splinting into smaller and smaller parties and single issue support .
That is why it is becoming such a close run thing between the three main parties.

The media is complicit in trying to hold up the statues quo and dumbing down the voting public.
It is the media that dulls the will of the people as it leads people to believe that something can be done about the situation on the one hand.
By such things as..............................................
Watchdog, Inside out London, Hard hitting documentary, News night! Paxman hard hitting questions and exposure of the lies,false promises and criminality among those who govern us.

On the other hand when the most important even in Londons life for a few years comes around It is turned into a three horse race by the media ignoring all but three candidates in a election that has a ten person candidate list as published in the returning officers booklet .

Is it not time that all candidate in the mayoral election should be given at least a slot of say half an hour on the London program or something like that or a News night special where they all get questioned on their policies and ideas for London. That way we may get a real representaion for London and more people would actually take an interest in who gets in.

As the 主播大秀 is not to show political fear or favour and to offer no individual support to any one candidate how can it be that we allow three to take the lime light ?
