Election Artist. Update!
Nigel Wrench writes: "A derelict amusement park in Redcar, and there perched on his camper van, behind his large format camera, is the official election artist Simon Roberts (his back anyway), commissioned by the House of Commons Advisory Committee on Works of Art.
Mr Roberts has had quite a week. He was photographing Gordon Brown in Rochdale when the Prime Minister met Gillian Duffy. His perspective on that, as well as on David Cameron who he should be photographing today, on PM this evening, given there's enough room in the show, that we find each other outside Derby, and given the satellite phone works. Hold thumbs.
