Interactive television's sixth year of offering video streaming options at The Open continues apace at Hoylake this weekend, with Player Group choices and Daily Highlights on offer, complemented by a full leaderboard and news section.

One World Cup's over and another one takes place in Spring next year: , for which we have live radio coverage and television highlights - marking the return of cricket to Ö÷²¥´óÐã tv for the first time since 1999. I'm sitting in the office today with one eye on the live TV coverage of the Tour, one eye on the work I'm trying to do and a third eye attempting to look at Google Earth. My jaw is slowly dropping onto the desk as a result.

All the World Cup ratings are now in, and we have the provisional overnight numbers for the Final. They show the audience chose the Ö÷²¥´óÐã by a big margin:
At 7pm the Ö÷²¥´óÐã One had 11.3m viewers, while ITV1 had 2.3m
At 8pm Ö÷²¥´óÐã 13.5m; ITV 2.4m
At 9pm Ö÷²¥´óÐã 15.1m; ITV 3.0m

After England crashed out of the World Cup, I declared that football was no longer the game for me.
I'd spent more than a year planning the World Cup editorial coverage for the Ö÷²¥´óÐã Sport website and to watch England go out on penalties yet again was a huge disappointment.
