The great thing about the sixth round of the FA Cup is that all four games are televised - so no risk of any team not getting coverage. And this year we're back to the normal pattern of the matches being played over a weekend, as opposed to last year's Sven-inspired midweek fixtures to help the season finish early.

When it comes to marketing I'm afraid I've always fallen in with my namesake , the American comedian, who used to ask his audience enthusiastically "Anyone here work in marketing?"

When the shouts of "Yeah" would go up from the comedy venues of the world, Bill would add dryly: "Kill yourself".

A bit cruel maybe, but if you've spent any part of your adult life sticking post-it notes to flip charts you know exactly what we are talking about.

It's been a bit quiet on this blog of late - for which, apologies. It's a word I'll be coming back to.

But it's been a pretty successful time on screen, on our radio services and here online. The Six Nations got off to a thrilling start and audiences have watched in greater numbers than last season - which was itself a record-breaker.

My colleague Carl Hicks will be posting in more detail about the Six Nations, so I'll move on to other sports.

Middlesbrough v Bristol City on Five Live and Bolton v Arsenal on Ö÷²¥´óÐã One saw off the fourth round of the FA Cup in fine style, and we're this weekend.

However, there's always some criticism as well as support for what we do. Absolutely no more than normal, I'd say, but I thought I'd run through the areas where people have been getting in touch with their views.

I don't think there can ever have been a Six Nations Championship more keenly anticipated than the one which finally gets under way in Rome and Twickenham tomorrow.

Last week's RBS launch for the tournament in London produced a record attendance of media from all around the world and the anticipation has been cranked up this week each with each team announcement.

A special thanks from us though goes to Brian Ashton because Monday's England team set the sports world abuzz and took the sport to the front pages as well as the back.

Not surprisingly Jonny Wilkinson's return will dominate our discussion on the Tv coverage before the England game (4pm ko), but no one should forget that Andy Farrell's England debut after just 12 games for Saracens is an equally amazing story.
