Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing Showcase
The Ö÷²¥´óÐã Introducing team will be making their way out to Austin on Thursday March 13 for a special showcase hosted by Steve Lamacq. Steve has picked out five of his favourite new bands from the UK and US for the night, and brings 6 Music listeners the best moments on his show, which comes live from SXSW on March 14.
The line up includes hotly tipped Brooklyn band MGMT, Edward Larrikin’s new venture The Pan I Am, indie-electro duo I Was A Cub Scout, South London’s Florence And The Machine and New Hampshire four-piece Wild Light, fresh from their support slot on the Arcade Fire tour.
Those not lucky enough to make it can hear highlights across the following week on 6 Music, Radio 1 and Radio 2, while we’ll keep you up to date with the artists’ progress on this blog.
